I just recently left my Mercedes into Basin Walk Garage which is under new management and was very pleased with the quality of work, price and speed of getting my car back. I would highly recommend the garage to anyone needing work done on their car. The new management definitely have customer service at the heart of the operation.
UNDER NEW MANAGMENT, could not recommend this garage enough. Fantastic service, reasonable prices, and the mechanic is a local lad who genuinely loves cars, so he will do all he can to sort yours out. With years of trouble with my fellas car, 1 trip to this garage and its driving better than it ever has. 5 rating.
In my opinion the people in this place are the most dishonest I have ever come accross. They overcharge and are extremely rude. They will not show you any proof of purchase for any parts and will go ahead and do work even if you tell them not to until you agree a price. They then tell you pay the money or your not getting your car back. Definitely a company for the Consumer Council.
A great garage. Good mechanic that runs the garage as he know's his cars. And affordable repair. Keenly priced for work. Would Recommend now.
I got totally ripped off even I have a very good knowledge about the cars. Parts was over priced. And they refused to show the receipts of parts. I got ripped off a £100. I do not recommend basin walk garage !!!
Daughter went in with car that main beams wouldn't come on , fitted 2 bulbs and tried to say there was an airbag problem which there was not.Charged her £30.When she got home she tried the beam and it didn't work. She brought it down next morning and lo and behold there were no fuses fitted! They didn't even test their work. They told her to bring car back to who she bought it from as there was a problem with beam lever.Lads,you can't get away with this type of stuff anymore -social media! !
Very poor service. They kept my car for a month and then gave it back, charged over £500 but I wouldn't even make it home, bluffers had no clue what was wrong with it, had to go to another garage and pay another couple hundreds. STRONGLY ADVISE STAY AWAY FROM THAT PLACE
UNDER NEW OWNER. very reasonably priced and a lovely man.
