We visited here in May.The cafe was open and we had delicious cakes, coffee and hot chocolate. The staff were very helpful and pointed out the things we could see and do. The wildlife walk is quite short, but extremely well laid out and varied, with ponds, streams, bushes and native trees, encouraging lots of insect and bird species. Some of the highlights were song thrush, whitethroat, willow warbler, linnet and redpoll. We also saw peregrine and red kite. A longer trail is also present for those wishing to walk further. Lots of leaflets in the visitor centre and toilets - always welcome. We had a great day!

Lovely area with well laid out paths. Bird watching and butterfly/moths spotting opportunties abound.
