When my partner and I have a take out we always order from here. I have to be honest that we have never had a bad meal. All of the food is very tasty. We have made special requests on occasions and they have been accommodating. Ordered this evening and asked for our meal at a specific time and they delivered. The only thing that I personally believe is missing is when a customer spends over a certain amount maybe some free popadoms, because if you don’t order and pay for them you won’t get any. Just a little nice extra.
My partner ordered tonight from the royal balti for the first time, food was the best I’ve tasted and we’ve eaten from a few Indian restaurants. I really enjoyed it. we were sent the wrong curry but my partner called them and it was rectified straight away and promptly. Thank you for that : Highly recommend.
Just ordered from here, had the Tandoori dinner box plus a few other bits. The food was amazing, the gentleman taking the call was brilliant and price was great for the quality of food. Had a delivery to Llandough, which didn’t take too long at all. Highly recommend to everyone in the Vale and the menu is huge, so many options. 5 star from us, we will be ordering again for sure
A week presented shop and food let down by the curry. My curry tasted exclusively of burnt garlic. The paneer in the curry could not be tasted because it had not been grilled. The chef's selection dish looked like a combination of macaroni cheese and jam. While it may have tasted good, texture is also an important part of any meal.
We live only 5 minutes away but never went here before tonight I suppose because we had never noticed it. We were really happy with what we ordered we heard about this takeaway through the recent award they won. All delicious and cooked to a much higher standard than any other takeaway we've tried anywhere. My husband asked me to say "The food was amazing!". So, there you go. However, I was going to order from here a month ago and decided against it because some of the photos on Uber eats are so unappealing that it put me off not sure if it's the same on their website. If it were me, I would change that because it doesn't show how tasty the food actually is. The chicken korma photo in particular looks odd.
Just wrote a lovely review for Kalimirch as I tried it with a friend of mine, was nice. BUT, has nothing on my main boys at Royal Balti ! Hands down the best Indian in the world. And I've tried Indian restaurants all over the UK, australia, Spain.... etc. Keep doing your thing guys, Kings of the kitchen curry masters
Decided to order after seeing all the awards they've won! I had a chicken balti and asked for extra coriander, it was delicious if I have one criticism, I would like the onions smaller and softer My friend is a korma girl, she said it was delicious, but there was very little chicken and way too much sauce! We shared chips, typical Indian takeaway, frozen chips, but there was plenty of them and they were OK The love of my Indian takeaway is the keema naan and sadly this is the main reason I only gave 4 stars! It was very thin and there was the tiniest amount of the keema meat! Gutted!! It was such a small amount On the plus side, the food was fresh and hot and delivered at the time I specified and the staff and delivery driver were polite and helpful
Always so fresh! They have an open kitchen which is brilliant , being able to see where your food is cooked is a bonus, always so clean!
Ordered a meal for two using the Vale of Glamorgan Eats App, the app said it was delivered but it didn’t arrive for another 30 mins. We waited an hour and a half in total. But when it arrived the food was still hot and DELICIOUS! great food, sh!t App.
Ordered tonight and we were so disappointed. Usually order from the modern balti and chose this one because our usual was closed. We ordered exactly the same as we normally order and was £10 more! But thought for the extra let's give it a go hopefully will be delicious We couldn't have been more wrong Pilau rice was very bland and a lot of the rice was all stuck together. Chicken Korma. Really disappointing. Very bland and watery sauce and only six cubes of chicken definitely not worth the £8 plus price tag Lamb balti. Again disappointing. Watery sauce not like my partner usually has and again only six cubes of meat. Not worth the price. Naan breads. Again disappointing a lot smaller and thinner than we have ever had from an Indian. I had plain husband had Keema naan. The Keema had only one very thin sliver of meat. Absolutely shocking. Chips were average and at £3.30 for a small bag really shocking price. So overall really poor value for money for food that wasn't very tasty at all. Wouldn't recommend and won't be ordering again
