We been here to offer our facepainting for a birthday party as highly recommended the venue for kids party !!
Be aware this playground is not open to the public. My two sons aged 5 & 9 walked a mile and a half across London to come play here for 20 minutes while we waited for a train out of Kings Cross, but we're turned away within seconds because they weren't members of a particular group and weren't registered on the necessary paperwork. It would appear we live in a world where risk assesments and insurance policies now stand in the way of children playing on playground equipment. One female staff member was quite understanding & apologetic, but her male colleague was much more confrontational with their Grandad, who was simply in disbelief they'd turned two young children away based on bureaucracy. Older folk tend to be much less tolerant of nonsense than the younger ones who've sadly grown up with it being part of daily life.
Travelled a long way only to be turned away at the gate because we “don’t live locally” therefore cannot play. Nowhere on your website does it say for local children only. Your website should be updated to clearly reflect this if this is the case as it will save a lot of families the hassle of travelling long distances with children. I came with one child who it wouldn’t have caused any trouble to if she was allowed to play for a short while.
This playground looks pretty awesome and my daughter was so exited as we walked by. Unfortunately, we were told today that they closed at 5:30 instead of the posted closing time of 6:30. Arrive early or be prepared to walk away with upset children
My family and I recently spent a wonderful afternoon here for a birthday party. As a parent, the first thing I noticed and appreciated was the focus on safety. The equipment is well-maintained, and the layout ensures kids are always in sight. The variety of play structures and areas meant that children were never bored. They climbed, swung, slid, and explored!
Me and my friends who are tweens came here for fun and stayed for less than 10 minutes the gate was fully open to the whole public until the park workers came and kicked us out because apparently we were too old. We said okay and did not utter a rude word when the lady said “Don’t come back” don’t think that’s how you should speak to children who respected you. We weren’t causing any harm and we’re just trying out all the bridges. Since when we’re you too old to have fun? Fyi, before entering it said ages 6-13 on a chalkboard. We were younger than that smh
Absolutely amazing, such a great place for the kids to go after school, or during school holidays. And as for the staff, there Absolutely amazing. They are kind, friendly, welcoming, helpful, unserstanding, approachable. I was scared at first to leave my daughter there but after seeing the way Sarah, Jonathan and Josh interactive with the kids it's just Absolutely amazing. They really do look after the kids. So Thank you so much for all that uses do.x
Place is a bit run down could be a really stunning venue as it's got so many areas ... But there is a lot of rubbish lying around that would just require picking up and disposing of
It is nice to see my photo being featured! We are a visitor of the area and we were looking for the playground and we thought this was it. We found out that it was a paid venue, but the guy who worked there at the time let us try the playground! Hence the reason I took the photos. Great friendly service, and thanks for letting my kids try it out.
Fabulous place for children. My 7 year old adores it here.
