My Wife & I had a meal at Barnaby's last night and we both found it to be excellent all round and a real little gem in Southsea. My fillet steak was cooked to perfection with a good portion of sauté potatoes & a nice bowl of delicately dressed mixed salad. The steak itself was a very good size too and the peppercorn sauce complimented it perfectly. My Wife had the Duck breast and was equally impressed with the quality of the bird along with a great mix of veggies and new potatoes. I tried the house red, a Chilean Merlot, and found it accompanied the steak excellently, with my Wife also impressed the delicacy it carried with the Duck. All-in-all a great night and highly recommend. Southsea should be proud of this little gem and I know for certain that if and when I ever come back here I will not hesitate to revisit. Service was by two guys who were friendly, efficient and above all nicely professional. Enjoy.
