I felt ignored by staff whilst at the till, staff seemed more interested in chatting to friends than serving me. When calculating my bill I was then overcharged and had to argue over the right price, there wasn't even an apology when she conceded that I was right
If i could give less than 1 star i would! I arrived at the post office at 3:55pm and waited outside as there was another lady waiting to go in due to social distancing, when called in was 4:02pm by now i stood behind a person who was being dealt with by the post office to be asked if wanted to use the post office, i answered Yes to then be told "Sorry the post office closes at 4pm". I said to the young lady behind the counter that i was standing outside for more than 5 minutes waiting to be called in! Was told "Yeah its 4pm, sorry". On that note i will not be returning again to this shop, nor recommend it to anyone. Either way have a Merry Xmas & a Happy New Year!!!
Got to the door 10 minutes before its closing time, got it shut in my face and locked. Asked if they were closed, got a curt "yep" and snarky smile. Stood in disbelief for a second before I realised she wasn't arsed at all. Trust: broken, I'll stick to the garages in the area from now on.
Wide range of groceries. Good wine selection. Good post office ans postal materials. An excellent local shop/post office with really helpful and friendly staff.
Great little local store and post office. Stocks most grocery items along with newspapers,wines, stationery and so on. Open 7 days a week.
