I am a student here at BDC and I have just completed my T-level qualification in Business Management and Administration. I thought I would just share my review with others who are deciding whether or not to come to this college. The campus is new and modern, teaching and learning is amazing, my teachers were excellent and I learnt a lot from them. I would recommend this college to anyone looking to study Business and I am very grateful for all the work and support they have given me.
It’s my fist year at this college feels so dry teachers don’t do there work properly can teach for abit then be like for reflection watch a video to help you yet you actually need the teacher support they have no past papers or anything on a regular so this some toilet doors are broken and some canteen workers are roud even though your 5p shot your not let to take item
Horror college, felt like a youth club.nnTeachers are unprofessional, often late and have a lazy approach to teaching. One specific teacher would make strange inappropriate jokes to students and once threw himself on the floor in hopes to get our attention.nnRegister was never correct and would mark us as absent at times. It felt like I was learning nothing at all.nnWhen I decided to leave, my teacher tried guilt tripping me and shutting down my choice, going as far as trying to secretly make me sign up for the next year.nnThe place has excellent resources however, such as for film and cooking. The main problem is the way it is ran: lack of care for teachers and poor management
AVOID this college. They don't deserve even one star for their services.nnI went with my brother to them, to enroll him for an ESOL course back in September 2023. We found this course very attractive, because it states on the website that unemployed people like my brother can study this course for free.They tested his English skills, and we agreed to start with Level 1.nnHe finished the course. He said that was not what he expected, and the teaching methods were awful.nnOn 5th of February 2025, we got an e-mail from them where they said that there is an outstanding balance of £240 in my brother's name. And this is very disappointing, because they said the course is FREE for unemployed people.nnContacting the college, they mentioned the reason why he had to pay: 'You are not from London Borough'.nnWe asked for the contract where it says that the person should be from London, and we never got it,they sent just the 6th page from it where is a receipt in my brother's name.nnThey were threatening us with debt collectors if we didn't pay.nnSo DON'T choose this college!!!!!
Would NOT recommend this college.Absoloutley appalling how students are treated especially when they struggle with there mental health and being accused of things they haven't done.nCommunication with the staff is terrible very unprofessional
