Riding School and Livery Yard

Story

We teach children from 5 years and up and adults of all ages. We cater for complete beginners upto competition riders and career students. We have 20 horses and ponies in the riding school. Indoor School & Outdoor menage. Hacking for competent riders.
We offer full and working livery.

If you're looking for something just a bit different, why not try this peaceful campsite located in an equestrian centre in the heart of the Suffolk countryside. The pitches have lovely views of a jumping paddock and fields of grazing horses. And if you fancy having a go at horse riding, you can book a riding lesson or a hack. Bardwell village has two good pubs, and there are shops in nearby Ixworth. The historic market town of Bury St Edmunds is only a short 15-minute drive away.

My daughters and I had a 1 hour private lesson. I was really pleased that the area was really clean, especially the room to put on your boots, etc (which were all supplied) and all the staff were friendly so friendly. We had an amazing time and wish we didn't live 4 hours away! Would love to go again if we are back in the area. Thank you ladies

Lovely, small site with beautiful views of sunset across the fields. Lovely to be around the horses and so peaceful. Large pitches with hook up available, lovely family friendly shower room. Good food pubs a short distance away. Perfect place to sit and unwind on a summer's eve.

An idyllic getaway with lovely horses and great instructors that offers something for everyone - regardless if you're an experienced rider looking for a fun lesson or hack, or if you're a beginner who's never even sat on a horse before. I love it here!

Don't camp here... Although the staff who own the property are friendly. The neighbours are some of the most disgusting people I have ever come across in all my life. Pay a bit extra and go somewhere else.
