In my 30 years with Barclays, today I met the branch manager of this back, he is an amazing, superb person. My card was blocked some reasons, I phoned Barclays several times in the morning and spoke with barclays customer outsourced service possibly in India then Sanderland but no was able to remove the block so I end up at this branch and the manager nearly after an hour on the phone talking  to 7 different groups of bank people at other places,  and these groups were going in circle without real help, but the manager didn't gave up and was finally able to remove the block. At one stage,I got tired and wanted to leave it, but the manager's endless  effort resulted to remove the block. Wasn't that amazing? Many thanks Mr.Manager.

I didn't feel the atmosphere of the building. This bank feels dark and cold.

The whole place smells like urin.  After being there for an hour on a very quiet day I never  managed to speak to a personal banking representative. In the meantime I watched a few members of staff walking in an out and participating in the 'paper exchange training' on one of their machines. Very poor from Barclays.
