The wait in this branch is unreal, every week I'm here to business bank and the wait is by far the worst I've ever seen in a Barclays Bank. Either more staff or open another desk up as you never use the 4th desk. The only plus are the pleasant staff.

what an absolute farce, all I wanted to do is send a fax to the branch in Ashton-U-Lyne, and after trying for the 6th time I tried to phone the branch to ask them to check that their fax machine was working, unfortunately some simpleton in the Barclays hierarchy has decided that there is no longer a requirement for a direct line to the branch so after another 10 minutes of pointless passing from one dept to another the line went dead , so I phoned again and so another 10 mins of my life that I will never get back is wasted just for the line to go dead again, so now after 25-30 mins of basically the worst customer service I have received in the last 10 years , I still haven't been able to send the fax (that should have taken 30 seconds at the most) and all the while I'm trying to run a business, I'm just glad I don't do my personal banking with this pointless sham of a bank,
