Went in to get some more information regarding getting a barclaycard as I wanted to know whether getting a credit card would help my situation. Unfriendly staff didnt want to know or give me chance to explain. Told me to do it online, I told them I wanted help during to application stage as I didnt want to sign up to anythig I didnt need or want. Once again told to apply online. In and out the door within a minute due to rude staff. Went to the Beverley branch instead who delivered brilliant service.

I've tried on numerous occassions to transfer money into other people's accounts for purchases supplying the sellers bank details. This branch failed me every time resulting in loosing the purchases. I've also waited over a month to receive a mortgage in principle from Barclays mortgage dept. To date it's still not arrived which meant loosing out on houses we've liked. It's still not arrived and they never answer the phone. Am now closing our accounts and transfering to another bank. Barclays hasn't worked for us. Be warned. Shocking service.

Nice service but not enough branches. I desperately want to give Barclays my mortgage but I have to wait years for an appointment. We need more branches.

Branches are closing down - service is being withdrawn- wake up everybody. This is to force everyone into using a digital currency. Actual money will be a thing of the past. Keep using cash. and demand human Teller service not robot machines. Also check out MREL on your computer internet. Google and See what Jim Rickards has to say.
