My complaint was dealt with by Diane and Helen at the Cramlington branch who were very helpful and nothing was a bother to them. Their pleasant and helpful attitude was much appreciated. They are an asset to Barclays Bank. Thank you Diane and Helen. Keep up the good work.
Opening hours that are convenient for Barclays staff, NOT for customers. Only open for a few hours on a Saturday with no counter staff! If you work during the week, you have no chance. Weekends should be the main time for the branch to be open! Saturdays AND Sundays!!
Disgraceful customer service at this branch. Needed to pay money into an account but needed to pay in over the counter. No counter service on a Saturday! The only time people who work during the week have time to do things is on a Saturday, and Barclays can't be bothered to assist their customers.

Waiting 10 days for new bank card after it being lost rang up after 10 days the response I got was well well block the new one and send another like I want to wait another 10 days so now I have to travel 8 miles to nearest branch to withdraw money till card arrives why they shut the Ashington branch I don’t know not everyone uses banking app
Went in to send money abroad but their WI FI was running slow due to the IT problems. Friendly staff but got the job done xx
Opening and closing times are poor, working 7:30 - 4:00 makes it difficult to get to the bank
30 years ago you could walk in and get to speak to somebody with a short wait...now you need to wait 6 weeks for an appointment to see somebody. This day and age the service should be better not worse I'm busy looking for another company to put my money into after 40 years of been with hhhbarclays...Good luck
I took time off work today, half a day, as i needed to get some of my funds in to my account for a later payment for a vehicle. I had already viewed BARCLAYS Google my business listing and had checked there opening hours till 4.30. However due to not many stores being available to there customers, i had to travel on a total of x4 buses. I had arrived at this Cramlington branch at 2.55pm to find that the lady on the counter was closing and said she was closed and that she could try ask but it might not be in my account today. I said i was viewing a vehicle tonight so needed it in my account. She said well you will have to use the machine but you can only put 200 notes at once, how much have you to deposit, i replied 6,000. So off i went to use the machines the first 2000 was ok, the 2nd lot i put in, the machine said the wrong figures. I counted again with my dad, double checking and again the machine was wrong. So i spoke to the lady on the counter, she said look there's nothing i can do, i said i am not happy, av checked the opening times on there google listing and have ended up wasting my time because of the wrong opening hours being stated on there listing. She then said google has nothing to do with barclays so nothing to do with barclays. I said thats true to a certain point. But barclays must of made a listing to advertise there company to be displayed on google my buisness and someone has not keeped it up to date for there customers. She said they cant do that. I said look, a dont want to a debate, i own a company myself and i put my company on google and i keep it managed, up to date for my customers. Google does not just put you on with links to websight without consent or you having to do it, she says nope am wrong. I went back to the machine counting large amounts of cash in front of strangers looking, staring, thr lady then came over asking questions and going on about google has nothing to do with them, putting me off counting. At this point shes asking my dad with learning difficulties and putting me off, i felt like telling her to go away, but did not want to escalate the situation with cash all over. Yes barclays do make this listing and do manage it very poorly, you can clearly see barclays comments on customers reviews and it is clearly fare to say there google my business is clearly wrong in regards to updates to opening hours, absolutely shocking experience
Absolutely unacceptable service! The staff are very pleasant and polite but slow to respond when a problem arises. The machines are often not functioning therefore this creates queues and dissatisfied customers.
