Just been to this branch to deposit some cash. Having previously read the very poor reviews of service I was completely shocked by how accurate they were. I was rudely talked to my a member staff to inform me there were no counter staff , and was offered nothing in the way of politeness or attention. I think it's about time these people are reminded that they're job is to provide a service to the customers. And not be treated like an inconvenience. Luckily I rarely need to go in branch and definitely will not be returning to waterlooville any time soon.
Never had a problem with the staff here always friendly but only having one person behind the counter is rediculous. Only 3rd in the queue but waited 20mins. When I left there were 8 people queuing. As most of us were elderly it's not good. What's happening here. Before covid always plenty of staff and waiting time was to a mimimum.
What's the point of pushing to get people to use the cash point outside to pay in cash. It never works! Awful bank, grumpy staff, limited opening hours compared to other banks in the area.
Bought a house yesterday and needed to transfer lots of money from my Barclays Acc to my Solicitor; Nadine and Jenny in the Waterlooville Branch were super efficient, friendly and helpful.
All the staff are friendly there and willing to help and is the best one in Hampshire because it has 4 counters instead of 1 in Town and Fareham Barclays so don’t wait at long at the Barclays here. :
Disgraceful service. Told it would 7-10 working days to transfer money from my deceased mother's account to my account. Acted on wrong information given by employee, which has delayed resolution even further.
Manned cashiers desk closes at 14:30. Why is this a part time bank! Wasted journey and unhelpful lone staff member.
half hour wait only to be told i cant pay money into my own account as i dont have debit card with me. the simplest task and they cant help
More staff needed charge enough for business account. Waited over ten minutes to finally bank my money not very good Barclays I wouldn't get away with running my business like this very poor service. Thinking of changing banks as the service isn't getting any better.
Pretty much a waste of time keeping this branch open. Terrible opening hours for us people that have jobs, probably good for people who collect benefits though
