As expected... Close the counters, reduce opening hours, this then leads to reduced footfall = they close the branch! All the Dewsbury customers should close their bank accounts to send them a clear signal this is not acceptable! They've done the same thing to HSBC, and by looks of it Halifax too. Soon there will be no banks left in Dewsbury!
Everytime I go into this bank it’s never a smooth ride literally every single time. When I go to deposit money into my account their self service machines always spit the money back out. And the staff at the counter get funny and rude if you ask them to do it at the counter. Today was even worse, the counters were meant to open at 9:30. At 10am they were still closed. I asked the last why she said it’s due to someone calling in sick and she’s not sure when they’ll open today. Mean while I could hear the staff having a right chitter chatter in the back. A staff could have easily taken the money and cashed it in for me. The desk is not opened their machines don’t work. And this isn’t just a one off it’s literally every time I go in I have a bad experience. For this reason I’m going to close my bank account down and open with a bank that has better service.
Could you please write opening times and closing time of desks, so I will be able to get some coins ? As your machine do not have capability to send or receive coins. Thanks
No point been open if you carnt do what you need to do I only have Saturday off I went to put change in my bank as I am a Barclays customer but was told they couldn't serve me as it was Saturday and had to come in thought the week can I just say that most people work though the week and need the banks fully operational on a weekend if not shut it no point been open is there

This used to be a really good bank nothing is good about it now I'm afraid.poor old fella infront of me just needed help and was told he'd have to wait a month for a appointment I for 1 will be taking my business elsewhere ware they have desk staff manned wile they say its open. Ever since the batley branch closed its been a down hill spiral. Not been in for a wile as last time wasn't pleasant either. Reserved judgement but will definitely be moving all my personal and business accounts now started when they closed batly but they will all be going to lyods now that's still a bank you can go to and speak to some1. And still in my town. How far the mighty have fallen in such a short time .really is a shame
Honestly this is the worst bank. So unorganised! Typical Barclays! I will be making a formal complaint as it the weekend & the lines are open Monday to Friday. I have since taken my business elsewhere. Made an executive decision to do so after having numerous unpleasant experiences every single time I went in to the branch this week & also previously. Every SINGLE time I have been in the branch I have NOT ever had a pleasant experience. It’s actually so bad.

Absolutely disgusting service. I am waiting for a new card, so went to branch today. I have no photographic id, so needed to use the counter service, as I had previously. Only to be told counters shut come back tomorrow. I was in tears, as I am disabled and had no way of getting home. I had to walk for 2 miles home in agony. Barclays you are a disgrace
I went down to Dewsbury branch on 09/03/22 at 2:45pm the young male staff on the help desk was very unfriendly and had unprofessional attitude. I asked for signature mandate form which he didn’t have any idea of what that was. I didn’t feel welcome in the bank. Every time I go down you have to wait in a queue and you don’t get an apology for waiting or a smile or thank you . Only one staff around, they won’t ask you if you need help until you don’t ask. Barclays need more staff to help customers and also need to train their staff to be more helpful, friendly and respectful to their customers. They need to have some seating area too as I had to fill my form on the windowsill while standing. If Barclays Customers Service doesn’t improve I might just switch to Halifax there services is really good I have an account with them too, they value there customers.
Not sure who the woman working is this morning 09/04/2022, but she got up on the wrong side of the bed this morning. Never come across a woman so rude. Not helpful, no manners, shouldn't be working with customers. Not professional at all.
