Welcoming relaxed atmosphere and a pleasant garden front and rear, Wadhurst Manor is a very beautiful and a great care home. The staff interact with the residents making the residents feel valued. The management also take time to try and understand what the residents likes and dislikes. The Nursing, dining, activities, housekeeping, maintenance and professional team all are attentive and caring too. Staff are always polite and very helpful, The manager is always on hand to answer any questions, issues that may arise as are the care staff. The manager is always on hand to support her team and the residents.
As a podiatrist/ chiropodist I have a pleasure to treat Wadhurst Manor residents. Its a vibrant community which welcomes everyone with a smile, friendliness and open heart. Residents are taking active part in number of organised activities, which are well received. Personally during my break- I have enjoyed Saturday quiz - fantastic way to improve cognitive skills and reconnect with residents in a homely atmosphere. It is very clear that working staff is happy, respectful and very helpful towards residents, each other and visitors. Wadhurst Manor is certainly outstanding on many levels.
My mother spent 10 weeks at Wadhurst Manor recently as respite care after an operation. Our experience was was very good. The accommodation was modern and the room with ensuite was large. The staff were very friendly and helpful. As a first experience of a care home we were very pleased and happy. My Mum was very complementary about it albeit happy to get home after recovering from her operation.
My mother in law is having some respite care in Wadhurst Manor She is really happy and feels at home rather than in a home the staff other residents activities are all brilliant. I’m really impressed with the care and the staff particularly Maria the manager and I’ve had over 30 years experience working with this care sector. VERY IMPRESSED
What a super home from home for my Mum. I was so worried about her going into a home but many falls and dementia left us no option. The staff have always been amazing... friendly and welcoming not just for Mum but for us too. Mum now has great routine... lots of activities and the coffee lounge is such a good area where she meets her friends and has activities morning and afternoon. She’s put put on weight since being at Wadhurst Manor !! Food is very good! Obviously, Mum has ongoing health issues but the care staff and nurses always inform me of any changes and they are happy to talk through any issues and address them quickly. Having had worries about Mum going into a home I now feel that the time I spend visiting her is quality time, she obviously has her ups and downs but her care and quantity of life - her happiness, is the very best in the circumstances. Thanks to all.
Wadhurst Manor is a fantstic care home. The home is run by a very caring and professional team, this runs from the expertise of the manager right down to the care staff. The manager is always on hand to support her team and the residents she cares for. The team are well led, highly trained and fully understand their duty of care towards everyone they support.
A relative was admitted to Wadhurst Manor Care Home a year ago. He was suffering from physical disabilities and early dementia and was often confused and inattentive. Since then his whole attitude has improved enormously. He can now interact, start and partake in conversations and really enjoys lots of the activities. When he first arrived he was not interested in activities and was very shut down mentally. The transformation has been amazing and all down to the care and support he receives from all the lovely staff. The whole home is an amazing place. I feel he has a quality of life that he couldn't be having has he stayed in his own home and am content that he is in the very best environment possible for someone in his situation.
I am a qualified professional visiting regularly Washurst Manor. I have found the staff to be of a really high standard....kind, caring are among their qualities. Clients seem happy & very well cared for. I would highly recommend Wadhurst Manor Care Home
Came by to view this care home and was so impressed. The staff were exceptionally friendly and it was beautiful inside. A warm and welcoming atmosphere with excellent service.
