My experience with Wadhurst Manor has been overwhelmingly positive. The staff are compassionate, attentive, and genuinely committed to the wellbeing of each resident. The home itself is clean, welcoming, and thoughtfully designed to feel more like a cozy retreat than a medical facility. Activities are varied and engaging, and the meals are nutritious and tailored to individual needs. Communication with families is excellent—transparent, timely, and reassuring. If you’re looking for a place where your loved one will be treated with dignity and care, Wiadhurst Manor is a wonderful place .
I have visited Wadhurst Manor recently for an open day. I found the staff very happy and helpful. They have greeted me with smiles and a hand shake.nI have visited a few nursing homes recently and found Wadhurst execllent with both staff and residents engaging and happy.nWadhurst Manor seems the perfect home
The management and staff at Wadhurst Manor came to our rescue when we urgently needed help to look after my lovely father. They were all so kind and helpful from the minute I picked up the phone to them even coming with a special vehicle to collect him from home the next day and this continued until he sadly passed away a few months ago. Initially we thought my father would stay for a couple of weeks respite, but it became clear that the 24/7 nursing care he was receiving was top notch and the best option for him and our mother rather than carers coming in at home, and his stay became permanent. Although we visited extensively almost everyday, we were never made to feel like we were in the way and always made welcome. My father loved being taken outside and seeing all the bunnies, birds and occasional deer in the garden. Together we enjoyed the delicious home baked cakes offered at afternoon tea. It is a very well managed home with a real sense of caring and professionalism at its heart. I strongly recommend it.
Staff at Wadhurst Manor are all lovely, professional ,always greeting me with a smile and I am being offered the nice, delicious cake and also a variety of refreshments . I have been coming at Wadhurst Manor for about 5 years and I can see the staff always engaging with the residents as they are a big family.
Welcoming relaxed atmosphere and a pleasant garden front and rear, Wadhurst Manor is a very beautiful and a great care home. The staff interact with the residents making the residents feel valued. The management also take time to try and understand what the residents likes and dislikes. The Nursing, dining, activities, housekeeping, maintenance and professional team all are attentive and caring too. Staff are always polite and very helpful, The manager is always on hand to answer any questions, issues that may arise as are the care staff. The manager is always on hand to support her team and the residents.
