Really good food, well cooked and tasty. Steak and chicken with Spicy rice was excellent.
My experience here was okay, but nothing to write home about. I ordered the steak and naan, expecting something exciting with some apna flavours. I got a very good portion of steak, and the naan was good, but the salad consisted of just lettuce, and there wasn't very much of it. The flavours were just okay, but I just wasn't fussed overall. Service was good - it looks like a family-run business, and the boss looks like he's eager to please.
Love the mixed steak and chips. The mayo seems like it had changed. Was better before. Apart from that, can’t fault.
Excellent food good size portions. Food was little spicey we ask for medium but it was towards high spices. It took a while 2 server the food I assume that's because they make everything fresh.
I went in on Wednesday evening at around 8pm where It was fairly busy. I ordered 2 chicken and chips and one steak and chips. The chicken and chips were priced at £7.50 each and steak and chips £9.50 each. Staff were nice and friendly however the food was awful which is a shame as I had previously dined in and the food was great. The chicken and chips was very curry like and was swimming in oil. The steak and chips tasted horrible as though it was off. There was no seasoning whatsoever. To top it all off the portion sizes weren’t exactly worth what I paid for. I was very disappointed with the meal as I had spent £28.50 and I felt robbed for what I had received. I hate to say this but I probably won’t be eating from here again and advise those who want a steak and chips/chicken and chips takeout that there are better alternatives nearby. I’ve attached a photo showing how much oil was in the tray even after I drained the oil before opening the tray
I am pretty sure most of the comments are paid as my experience was totally worst. Staff extremely rude, no customer service what so ever, they hang up on you even when you are still talking.i purchased 4 cheese burgers and asked for pepsi max i was told to pay extra 30p each can. Who charges extre 30p for a pepsi max? Staff is totally uninterested and behaves as they are the kings and we are asking for foor from them in the name of God. Shameless and extremely uncouth.
Another excellent meal at a place that is totally consistent and reliable. Scrupulously clean and following all the Covid rules so you feel as safe eating here as always.
Not from Bolton but I do go in and out of Bolton. I stopped by after searching for places to eat and I kid you not... Probably one of the best steaks on chips I've had. Very good for price too. Very filling and generous portion amount. Would recommend going for a good ol steak. Keep it up
Lovely place, been a couple of times now. Great authentic food, so make sure you can handle the heat The only difference is they now charge for water and don't really provide napkins/tissues
food is great but does get cold really quick deffinately get an egg on the steak and chipsFood: 5/5
