Great venue with friendly staff! Lovely refurbishment they've just had, alway an amazing atmosphere during the Rugby! Some of the best local bands play regularly & it's a ideal place for private functions. Look forward to my next visit
Good bar, always busy especially when the rugby is on. But please play more modern music. It's always really old music from 20/30 years ago. Think it's why mainly older people go. Play better music and younger people will come!

Lighting too dark. Concrete floor uneven, not suitable for high heels ! Barrel 'tables' need repositioning over uneven floor surface. Staff did bring blue tissue round to mop up wet barrel surfaces, but this needs doing hourly ! Effective mat in entrance doorway needed to prevent punters traipsing in rainwater and mud. The whole bar felt like 'The Cowshed' in the stadium. Wet, dark, cold unwelcoming, uninviting, no atmosphere. Just a drinking hole for men.
Four of us went there last night at about 6pm. We were the only one's there apart from 4 guys playing pool and the staff. The music was insanely loud, to the point we went elsewhere after the first drink. Shame cos we'd have had a couple more in there. You lost our business.Manager needs to sort it out.
great place for a drink, friendly staff and fast service. Good views off the screen playing live sports. Nice seating by the windows.
Great bar with live music, very good atmosphere before and after the game at kingsholm. Speedy service at the bar even during busy times.
