Impossible to give this place less than 5* have dined here several times and whether it was the steak or Sunday dinner the food was spot on, the gravy with the dinner is for us the best in Leeds. Charming staff and on hearing we were celebrating our daughter,s collage result were presented with this delicious surprise. A recent pic of the pork belly which was delicious.
Love this place! Wish week lived closer so we could go every Sunday! The bar is lovely and sits separate to the restaurant which works great. The food is delicious, I can highly recommend the chicken.
I have used Bar 166 a few times for large family meals & have booked these previously as it isn't a large resteraunt area even though it does have a function room upstairs. And they have excelled at the quality, quantity & timeliness of the food. You may have to wait longer at busier times but that is a standard anywhere. They have some great priced set meal deals & do Sunday lunches but don't leave it too late into the evening as some things can fall of the menu. Get there try it & enjoy as I have & will again.

Lovely food and drink - had a burger and the bun was a little on the dry side, but was nice nevertheless. Great service - sang happy birthday to my brothers and gave them two cocktails on the house! We had a great evening.
Bar 166 used to be one of my favourite places to eat however in the last 12 months it’s gone really, really bad! They must’ve changed the Chefs as the food quality is terrible compared to what it used to be. Even the menu is oddly written - 6 starters to choose from and about 18 main courses - go figure! I ordered scallops which came out over cooked and the size of peas, and the chicken main was like a child’s potion and poorly put together. Won’t be going back there to eat. Only reason I gave it 2 stars is because the bar area is nice

Food is delectable, pudding lovers must try the sticky toffee pudding, it's the best I've ever tasted. Booking is definitely recommended as it's very busy. The ONLY thing that let the place down, was a couple of staff appearing like they'd rather be anywhere else than at work.
Me and my family had a meal here tonight and we had the best experiance. The staff were very helpful and attentive. We had a very good char with the general manger "Vicky" who made and effort to speak with all the guests and made time to get to know them. The food was amazing and we couldn't have asked for better staff at such a cosy place. I highly recommend this to anybody.
went there while away on business in the area so table for 1 please..... Nice place - menu fairly good and varied. Very busy so perhaps not a great place for the lonely businessman, but probably good for couples, bigger parties. Food took a long time to arrive probably a result of being busy - again probably fine if you book ahead or are in a party - but not great for table for 1 here.... Steak was not the best in fact worse than I cook at home - with pretty basic salad and chips - so not perhaps up to the standard you'd expect from the decor and busyness. Saying that it was quite well priced for it's quality, if it was more expensive I'd say bad things about the steak for the price - but can't complain at their prices. Soup was good.
