Es ist beeindruckend, dass dieses Haus nach so langer Zeit noch existiert. Es ist leider kein Museeum, sondern wird bewohnt und liegt auf privatem Grund. Daher bitte nicht in Massen dort einfallen und nur sehr dezent und zurückhaltend dort aufzutreten, etwa zu einem Fotoshooting. Die Bewohner sind allerdings sehr freundlich und wohlwollend. Ein sehr kleiner Museeumsraum existiert aber doch. In dem Eckgebäude rechts vor der Zufahrt zum Haus findet man im Fenster ein Schild auf dem ein Rätsel zu lösen ist. Das Ergebnis öffnet eine kleine Tür zu einem Raum, in dem ein Colonel aus der Vergangenheit erzählt. Es gibt öffentliche Pfade zu einem Gedenkobelisken und der Gedenkstätte zur Schlacht bei Prestonpans....
