Been coming to this kebab shop for over 30 years. The food is consistently excellent. The staff are always welcoming and go the extra mile. The prices are reasonable and the portion sizes are great. Most definitely the best kebab shop in the area.
Not happy at all with the size, Donner wrap for £9, eaten within 3 minutes of delivery and literally half the size of what is served in other places. Feel kinda scammed as I have completely wasted my money and having to pay again for a proper portion elsewhere to fill my appetite.Food: 1/5
This was my absolute fav kebab house since it opened in the 70's I think. Sadly, in the last 2 years, it has gone down hill rapidly. Their Extra Large Combi Kebab has gone from £11.90 to a whopping £17.99 in a year. It also contains a lot less meat. They use tricks like, instead of using chunks of chicken for a shish, they thinly slice the chunks, so you get a LOT LESS in the kebab. Their chips in pitta, is now £3.99 and barely has a handful of chips in a small pitta. Compare this to Limehouse Kebab where the portions are very generous, and the quality is way beyond Balmans. I'm very sad to write this. I miss the old Balmans.
Balman kebab very good takeaway restaurant in roman road, kebab is delicious they also have Indian takeaway very good, service is brilliant, I recommend this restaurant to everyone. you can order from website and call them up. Always a regular customer.

One of the best Chicken/Kebabs/PFCs in Roman Road. They always give you a good amount of Kebab and make it just right so it's perfect. Would 100% recommend.Food: 4/5
The first time I ordered from here it was lovely nice food and good amount of food but the few times after that the portions have got smaller and not worth it...the food is good but portions need to be bigger
Great food reasonably priced. Their Lebo chicken was amazing. Will definitely try again next time I'm in the area.
Ordered delivery. Came late not hot without any sauce for mozzarella sticks. Meat on kebab wasn't great as well
