It's a really nice event but the parking was chaotic when we left. Obviously the storm didn't help matters.nOn a small note, it says £12 entry but we were charged £15. Not a big deal but the information could be clearer.

One of the best Highland Games we’ve been too. Really suggest getting there before 11. Parking was fairly quiet at this point and they shut the main road for the massed pipes and drums. Lots to see and do and in a very picturesque location. Parking is on a grass field so bear in mind if it’s been raining. Usual selection of Scottish sport, pipes and drums, caber toss, hammer throw. Lots of stalls selling a large variety of different things. Lovely day out all in all

Fun experience, allows to reap get to know Scotland with it's special activities and small stalls selling nice things. Participants clearly are semi professional so participating in the runs as a regular person is not common. The crowd is lovely and the flip a bucket game is so much fun

Great games! Fab setting, lovely to see so many youngsters  involved. Plenty of action all day long

Lovely park. Right next to village. They put on the Ballater Highland Games here. Outstanding job.
