Asked for information on Covid vaccination on behalf of my elderly mother and the pharmacist on duty responded with anti-vaccine misinformation. Looks like they have been engaging in anti-vax propaganda for over a year now. I have formally complained to the General Pharmaceutical Council.
I have just been to get my flu vaccine at Baden House, Marazion. As a patient with a mechanical heart valve I am high on the vulnerable list to have this done. On arrival I was met by a stern looking receptionist and a rude Dr. Granted they had no record of me come through from the NHS booking system and they’ve run out of vaccinations for under 65s, but essentially that wasn’t my fault. There was no attempt at empathy or rectifying the problem or any future issues with the system - something they seemed frustrated with. No apologies were offered. No rebooking offered. I offered to give my reference number so they could follow it up and try and resolve the problem and avoid future situations for other people but they refused. I am completely shocked by their manner and lack of professionalism and compassion towards a ‘vulnerable’ patient. This was stressed but made no difference. Nor was any advice for a future booking offered.
Don't book your flu vaccination here, unreliable. Had my appointment cancelled with minimal notice when I had already travelled to Marazion.
Don't bother booking a vaccination here. I turned up for my pre-booked appointment only to be told they 'weren't doing them today'. No attempt to contact me beforehand to let me know. 'Try again tomorrow' they said - not likely. Will avoid in future
Amazing service. Very professional behaviour. I collect medicine from there as i am on holiday trip . My medicine comes regular pharmacy outside Cornwall.
What a pharmacy! Called in to buy a wrist splint to assist me in dealing with a nuisance issue. We ended up having a very interesting chat about all sorts of unrelated issues to do with sleep & stress & fermented foods. The pharmacist was keen to help people in general I suspect but mostly to give us good advice. A very good hearted human being

Booked covid vaccine and got told by a anti-vax staff member they don't do covid jabs and to go do research on the disadvantages of having a covid vaccine.
Amazing service, as I’m not from the area, this pharmacy is by far the best one I’ve ever used, great advice and service.
Really great service, the staff are really friendly and helpful. They have been especially thoughtful and compassionate during what has been a difficult time for me. Thank you all very much.
