Not a great experience to be honest. Had to take two small journeys because of the snow, I volunteer at Citizens Advice and would normally walk to and from the centre as it's only just over a mile away from my house. However, due to the snow and being disabled, I decided not to risk walking in the snow and got a taxi. I felt bad with it being such a short journey so withdrew two £10 notes from an ATM to pay for my fare there and back. The guy who took me was lovely, however, on the way back I had a driver that as soon as I got in the car and he realised it was a short journey, he turned around and said "I'm going to have to charge you more for this" unbeknown to him, I had already planned to give him OVER double of what the fare was actually worth. He then proceeds to tell me how I should walk. I told him I have a disability and wasn't risking slipping or hurting myself in the snow, that's why I couldn't walk. He then proceeded to drop me 30 seconds away from my home, despite me telling him I had a disability, despite me telling him I didn't want to risk slipping in the snow and despite me paying him £10 for a 2 minute journey. Driver acted like I was a huge inconvenience to him and just wanted to drop me where he could easily turn around. Clearly the customer doesn't come first, even when you pay them well. I feel harsh because this review isn't a reflection of Bacup Taxis as a whole, it's the odd driver but they choose who works for them so for that reason they get the brunt of this bad review.
Booked with firm to go airport late both times. Excuses of us cancelling the taxi and also us giving the wrong time both incorrect. The first taxi had three warning lights on. Never use this unreliable.
I've been using Bacup Taxis for a few months now and on a very regular basis. From my own personal experience no complaints what so ever, find them very reliable and the drivers are friendly.

Too expensive for such a small journey, would have rather walked to Rawtenstall and got one from there
Arrived on time and drivers friendly. Would deffo use again
