I ordered a child seat from Perth Baby Hire online nearly 4 weeks prior to the date required and paid $40 for delivery on top of the $50 to hire. On the day of delivery nobody turned up and they didn't answer the mobile phone number listed on their website. After multiple attempts to contact them, I drove to the address listed on their website and it turned out to be a storage unit, which was locked and no one available during business hours. I have had to purchase a new child seat for my sisters visit for Christmas and I had to follow up with Perth Baby Hire to obtain a refund. Do not use this company!!
I rented a car seat from this place. And I have never ever used the seat, because I bought a new one 1 day after, so I decided to return it earlier and get my money back. I asked the lady if I return the seat earlier and have some refund, she said yes!!!!. They refuse to give me my money back, what they did is very unprofessional! So I decide to keep it until Monday. I returned it on Monday. The lady checked it is all good before I go. After 3hours, they made a call, saying the baby seat is broken, and ask me to pay for it. It is ridiculous!!!!!! Not recommend to any of my friends and car rental compay.
I didn’t want to give even one star. They signage is so incredibly faint you cannot see it. I could not find the place so I rang 50 thousand times for help…NO answer…I needed to ask shops around the place if they knew where it was. HOURS later the owner called and could not give a stuff when I mentioned the sign and that I had called hours earlier. So today I needed to return the capsule. Again NO answer when I called to make sure they were open. Why not have a phone at the store????Maybe you could buy some permanent textas and redo your sign. 4 hours later still no return call. Worst service I have ever come across.
Reply: You didn't mention anything when I rent the baby seat. And also a promise of early return and you reget it. Your staff is very unprofessional. Never ever had this bad service before. And you know the baby seat is NOT broken, and I know it is NOT broken. Why you call me said it is broken after I return it and your staff checked it all good already?? Have you had the rental service like you returned it and the staff checked it, after half day they are asking you for money??
Very Disappointing!!! I will never use this company again. I hired a rocking chair over Xmas which clunked extremely loudly when rocked after 3 mins. I sent 2 videos to them and they agreed to refund the money which I thought was reasonable even though I had to source other means to put my baby to sleep. I found that after returning the chair, they now will not refund the money and I need to go to Fair Trading...Unprofessional to say the least!!!OH....and the chair shown on the website, was not even the chair we were given to hire...
Perth Baby Hire was a life-saver, as we've arrived on Christmas Day without our trusty stroller. Wasn't sure if we could find a twin stroller and so happy they had one. We left on New Year's Day when business was closed, but they've kindly allowed us to drop off at the owner's home. I couldn't be more grateful.
Disappointing. I phoned to confirm if the item I needed was available I was told that it was. I called again to confirm that I wanted to go ahead with the hire. After being told I could collect it the next day if I wanted, and to text my details across for an invoice, I never got a response. I tried calling and texting again, but no response and no answer on the phone. As I needed it urgently I went to the warehouse the next day to sort it out, only to be told that I couldn't have it as it was now booked out. Driving all the way there and going home empty handed with a newborn and toddler in tow was very inconvenient and stressful. Perhaps I should have tried the online booking option? Who knows. I would have much preferred a text or a call back to either tell me to use the online booking option or that the item was no longer available, just as a common courtesy! The website says to "call if you prefer to speak to someone," so I don't feel I did anything wrong! I'll not use this service in future.
First time being here, Tanya was very helpful and nice. She helped me to set up the baby safe seats and explained to me over and over again the important details for kids safety I don't have kids yet myself so I have no clue of how these things work. Highly recommended !
I've used this service for a few years now and have always been extremely satisfied with the goods hired - cots, car seats, prams, high chairs - sometimes it's been a last minute call for help and they've always been incredibly helpful. Can't recommend them highly enough!
Great service. Loved that the ladies so easily exchanged the car seat as bub grew and changed over the last 6 months. Was able to purchase my own after seeing which style worked best for baby.
