Had my car serviced here today using a groupon voucher, really pleased, very friendly and informative with what was happening, explained about the oil charge when i called to book it, even though it is quite clear when you buy the groupon that you need to pay the surcharge , very happy and no problems so far :)

Had a full service with oil change done (groupon) and just seen in my service book that they only performed an interim service! I  had to wait several hours after the car was supposed to be finished, I also had an air-con service done (also via groupon) which they blatantly didn't do or not carry out correctly as upon using the air con a month later it didn't come out cold and I had a leaking seal. They were unhelpful and didn't want to resolve the problem not even for a 10% discount, yet by law they should have done a pressure check after the service which would have detected the leak. Steer clear! Very unfriendly and unhelpful.

I dropped my car in to BVS Mechanics, Southern Ltd. for a a/c re-gas and system check. Top class service from a very friendly and welcoming team, who kept me informed of every process.  They recommended a new filter for the a/c unit, which, when they showed me the clogged up old one...made perfect sense.  New lubricant, pressure testing and re-gas and my car is colder than my fridge!!!

Highly recommended.

UPDATE: August 2017.

My a/c stopped storing milk, butter and yogurt after about 6 weeks, luckily my fridge was still available!!!

However, after I called BVS they inspected the system and discovered a seal had broken.  They offered to do the work, re-gas and top up the system for a very reasonable price.  I chose to wait until after my planned road trip to Italy.  Let's hope that my decision to carry a full sized fridge/freezer on the roof, connected to the car, with power supplied, via solar panels...was a wise one!!!

Avoid!! Bought a groupon and it wasn't what described. First of all they redeem the voucher prior carrying any work so then if you complain will be too late because they have already cashed your voucher and groupon will not issue a refund because they think you had the service. The prices are not competitive at all and customer service is poor poor poor.
Unprofessional and uncompetitive. Such a bad experience, I felt robbed of my money because i lost 42 pounds for a coupon bought on groupon.

My car has been very well looked after by BVS. First took it in last year ace had the brakes done, mot in Feb. Today I've had a service and aircon regas via groupon. Helpful and friendly staff. They've recently sorted out my husbands car too. Kept us informed of any issues. Very happy.
