I visited the store last weekend to try and find some paint. I had bought a pink paint last September and could not find it on the shelves. Richard in Décor went that extra mile to find it on the computer , the paint had been colour matched, that's why it wasn't on the shelves. very helpful member of staff, well done. Thank you.

Had some paint mixed while we waited, was very quick and simple, no queues at checkout, in, out and on with the kitchen walls. Got some cheap rollers too as I throw them instead of cleaning them. They stood up well for the price paid.

I did not visit the store but phoned on several occasions. 
Bridlington is some distance from me, but it was the only store that had a considerable amount of stock of a new laminate floor I wanted. I dealt with Heather, who went way beyond excellent customer service. Not only did she check my measurements, but she made sure the laminate was removed and kept for me until I could arrange pick up. I called a couple of weeks later to enquire about underlay. She worked out what I needed, phoned me back, processed my payment and put it with my previous order. 
On each occasion she was helpful, friendly and informed. She is a credit to your store.

I wanted to check the stock of decking oil so phoned my local store, knowing that the web site is always entirely accurate. The protracted announcement re opening times I found frustrating when I only  wished to speak to staff. I gave the staff member the make of decking who then asked what dept I wanted. To answer this question I would need access to a computer system that told me which products are grouped into each dept. The staff member didn't want to know the product code. The staff member then went off to check the stock and I was eventually cut off as the line went dead.

On the second attempt I was asked for the product and after checking the stock on the shelf one tin was put aside for me. If B&Q had a real time stock control system a simple glance at a computer would have produced the answer in 3 seconds.
