The store itself is good as is the choice and stock but it's not one to go to at very busy times like Saturday afternoons/early evening. The car park is absolutely gridlocked and you can spend 30mins moving just 2 car lengths. We gave up at 5.30pm on Saturday night and walked down to Bang Bang for dinner until it cleared. Apparently this is a regular occurrence and the staff are powerless to do anything about it. The company that owns the car park really needs to sort this out with whoever is in charge of the traffic lights that allow car park users back onto the main road - only 4-5 cars can go through the lights at a time. With 4 lines of cars joining together from the carpark this makes for an unbelievable delay to customers of B&M, Bensons for Beds, Matalan etc. This is really unacceptable and needs to be addressed immediately.
B&M might not stand for Bargains and massive furniture but I truly think they should adopt the moniker.nImpressive and large warehouse space chock full of toys, seasonals, household essentials, party and gifting goods, paint supplies and gardening tools and many many other things at extremely affordable price points.nI've always come in and left smiling with the amount I can get with the little I bring.nnIf you know B&M it's as expected, full, populated and I recommend comfortable shoes to walk around in as the floor is quite hard and it definitely does a number on my knees nowadays.nnIf you don't know B&M? Choose a quiet weekday to visit and get your monthly shop in one evening. I will post videos and photos of inside the store and the surrounding parking. It's embedded within a growing retail park that is continuously expanding to allow more traffic so watch this space closely!
Becoming a favourite one-stop shop for me. Reasonable prices, most items I buy from my usual supermarket are a little cheaper here. I also managed to buy a corner table at a bargain price. Free parking, although just double-check the maximum hours allowed.
Great location, spacious inside and most tills are available. This shop has a lot of choice to buy items for my kitchen and bathroom. The Prices are reasonable also.
This is a really fun place to shop.nnA huge range of food and non-food items at wacky unpredictable prices. Some stuff is really cheap, while other things are unexpectedly pricey.nnJust two tiny cabinets filled with chilled meats and cheeses.nnI went down the food aisle buying noodles and sauces and various food items that I haven't seen elsewhere. I bought some Ready Steady Cook! turned out to be fabulous Madras cooking sauce for £1.nThe best I've ever bought for taste.nnThere's plenty of home decoration and bedding in the store as well as cleaning and washing products. I haven't even looked at all the electrical and computer related aisles. So much to see.nnI'll have to go back and spend more time as I didnt really scratch the surface.nnA good solid three to four stars.nnI'll echo what other people have said about the tills - only one or two open when I was waiting to pay so a bit slow.
