Desperately needed a new boiler after inheriting an 'on the way out' boiler in our new place. Contacted B&K and received an excellent, reasonably priced quote. Engineers came out a few days later, I assume a senior plumber and an apprentice. They worked excellently together and job was completed on time. Had no issues after and have recommended them on to my friends.

Fantastic service today, called this morning when my boiler was not working and they sent a engineer out who was very helpful and knowledgeable, within a couple of hours and all working by lunchtime. With all the snow to contend with, can't praise them enough. Michael.

Can't rate B&K enough, they saved me from a freezing night with no heating. Now nice and cosy. Thank you to all the staff.

I HAD heating but boiler was clicking BK left me with NO heating in freezing conditions. Plumber drained system and fitted new pump and left without checking rads, leaving cover off header tank and cover off boiler. Some rads were not working. He came back two days later and drained water through radiator then said would need to drain system again. Neither time system was drained did he warn me about sludge. 2nd drain caused sludge to move. He said 'sludge is in your system now and you've no heating, you will have to find a third party to fix, I can't do it' BK office said the same as it wasn't covered by insurance and they weren't willing to do it. I was going on holiday the next day and if I had a burst due to no heating I would not be covered. What chance had I have finding a plumber on a Friday afternoon and going on holiday. I was angry and blocked the plumbers van from leaving my property but I had to release him. As far as I am concerned if the job had been done correctly the first time I would have had heating. If he had given me warning I would have said leave it until I return. The company was used by BAXI as I sub contractor.

Rogue Traders Beware of using this company they are not to be trusted. When selecting a trades person you put trust in their expert knowledge. This firm tried to say that a pump was required to be fitted for £100's, when all that was needed was for a pipe to be turned a different direction. They still then overcharged by taking 2hrs to do a 10 minute job.
