These people were wonderful. We had 45 minutes before our train on Jubilee Day to have a meal. Despite having been rushed off their feet all day, they found us a table, brought our food promptly which was delicious by the way and let us pay upfront so we could get our train. The staff were charming and courteous and we will make this, a, regular stop when we visit London.
Came here for a few drinks before a meal - it was pretty quiet. Place looks amazing and has a great vibe but the service was below average. Staff seemed to be gathered at the back gass-bagging & paid little attention to us. I would say almost a slight attitude when serving us which was a bit odd considering we were only there for a few drinks. £7.50 for cocktails - not too bad but all bar one sell the same drinks for £6.50!! Poor for what you would expect in Waterloo. I wouldn’t come back here.
I do rather like this little bar/restaurant at Waterloo. There is the option to sit in or outside, do not be deceived, it is bigger inside than it appears. Only stayed for drinks but the food looked and smelt great. Lovely staff
Great food, helpful friendly staff, kid friendly Photos from the restaurant. Good location near Waterloo station and 5 min walk from the London Eye
Very nice Italian. Great service from the staff even without a booking. Some very good vegetarian options. the halloumi burger was very nice. Good options for kids as well.Food: 5/5
First time dinning at Azzurro and the experience was okay. The restaurant is quite nice inside and outside. The location is very convenient as it’s next to the station. The service was alright, not the best, not the worst. The starters prawn cocktail and bruschetta funghi was really good but the main disappointed us as lot. The pasta with fish was extremely spicy and there were just some pieces of prawns, the rest was blend spicy pasta. The ‘carbonara’ I don’t even want to call it like that because that was definitely not a real Carbonara. They used bacon instead of guanciale, not even pancetta, the sauce was blend cream and the pasta was a bit chewy. Overall if it was only for the pasta, I would’ve rated 1 but the starters were good. Another very weird and not very professional thing was that they don’t have any ashtrays so if you smoke you just have to throw it on the floor ! Disappointed !
Lovely place. Beautiful venue, atmosphere is amazing. Food tasty and portions good size. Great selection. Kids friendly- loved that our table was already set with high chair and kids menu. Service outstanding.Food: 5/5
Friendly staff; pizza very tasty...you know...when it goes a bit cold it still is yummy! Garlick bread was nice but looked some pieces looked a bit under-grilledFood: 5/5
Nice little restaurant. My dish was nice and filling. Service was excellent. The staff had got my friends wine order wrong, and rectified it without fuss. Handy location near Waterloo Train station.Food: 5/5
