Ordered 1kg boneless chicken karahi 1 meat tawa Chefs platter Chefs platter contained the following, 8 chicken wings, 4 lamb sheesh kebabs, 4 lamb chops, 2 tandoori chicken legs, fish tikka, chicken tikka. Served with a choice of 2 fries, 2 naan or 2 rice with salad. Chefs platter was full of different flavours., Absolutely mouthwatering . The chicken karahi and tawa meat were cooked to perfection. Meat was tender and very tasty. All in all a very enjoyable experience eating here and the quality of food was bang on... The service was top notch aswell from the waiter, didn't get his name but he did mention he was from up North. Truth be told one of the best overall meals in a while
Been going here for a while now its about 10 miles from where I live but is worth the drive out. The food is always very nice and the portions are nice and big and well worth every penny and also very cheep. The front of house are very friendly and welcoming the chap with the glasses is a top bloke and has great customer skills. The other bloke is also very friendly and welcoming and can take a big order off the top of his head and doesn't need to write it down. We had a party of around 10 and he didn't miss a thing when he told it back to us quite impressive always leave a tip as its well deserved would fully recommend.
We got the chilli & garlic chicken Balti, meat Jalfrezi, wings, lamb chops with butter naan bread and garlic naan. This was more than enough for the 3 of us. The service was amazing and the food was delicious! I'll definitely opt in for the Desi style next time so I can compare the difference in the dishes. It honestly was a last minute find and a great one too Vegetarian options: There's a few vegetarian options available Kid-friendliness: Went with my 1year old niece and the staff were welcoming and offered a high chair. Overall good customer service, presentation 7/10 could do better here . Taste of the product 5/10 value for money 9/10. This restaurant does not accept contactless and be warn if you they do pass on your mint / dips to other customers witness this unprofessional behaviour please improved upon it
You will not believe it. We have been regular clients of Azims since 1981. Never disappointed. Delicious food every time. Our favourite is balti meat, chicken and mix vegetables balti. Usually order delivery service and takes approximately 45 minutes and delivered hot. Porathas and garlic nans are super tasty as well. Sometimes free pardons are soggy but ok. Highly recommend. Can order desi style if need more spicy flavours. Good potion size as well Thank you
Very nice food! We went for the Chef platter which consisted of 2x lamb sheesh, 2x chicken sheesh, 4x lamb chops, 8x wings, 2x tandoori chicken leg, fish tikka, 2x naan/fries or rice. Definitely worth the £30, all freshly made, juicy and tender. The fish was really good, stood out for me. We also went for a Keema Tawa, very delicious we was recommended to get it slightly dry and that was perfect. One of the nicest keema dishes I’ve had, nice touch of ginger on top too. Service was brilliant, the brother in there with the glasses who supports Newcastle is a top guy, down to earth. Looked after us well. Only downfall for me is the decor, wasn’t the nicest and most welcoming but don’t let it put you off.
I eat here now and then with my husband and/ or friends. This restaurant gives you good quality authentic food for a reasonable price and doesn’t rip you off. I absolutely love eating here and the manager/ front of house Tan is amazing. He can handle anything, any order, any way you like it, he sorts you out. I love this place and will continue going!

BBQ Mixed Grill £12.95 was terrible. The 6 or 7 wings went in the bin because of the nasty taste. There was nothing wrong with the seasoning it was the meat Chicken Tikka was actually doner. Tasted ok but they shouldn't lie to customers. Chicken and lamb seekh kebabs had a rubbery texture. 2 lamb chops were alright Fries £1.85 were ok. Fresh salad Complimentary poppadoms and dips were nice Awaiting hygiene inspection according to Just Eat
Ordered lamb chops, spicy wings, meat seekh kebab, fish tikka, naan and chips. The chops were nice and a large size, the wings were nice, can't comment on the meat seekh kebabs as they didn't give them to us unfortunately and instead we found chicken tikka was given, they didn't inform us of the substitution, would have preferred to know instead of having chicken tikka forced on us. If you don't have something then tell your customers and be honest And at least substitute with a like for like could have put chapli kebabs in instead or shami kebabs, Wasn't that helpful when we called and pointed out what had happened. The salad given was nice and fresh and the mint yogurt and chilli sauce was nice. The chicken tikka was OK, The naan was average. The chips were no good unfortunately. Poppadom was nice. The fish tikka was tasty but found a huge bone so just be careful when eating any fish from here. In two minds regarding if would order again from here again or not purely based on the seekh kebab mishap and due to the bone In the fish and the chips not being good.
