Had been a customer for years......that's changed. When deciding not to renew and phoned AXA to say so, was expecting the questions of why and who was cheaper that's normal, what I wasn't expecting was them to give a "discount" which was still dearer than new insurer and them expecting me to renew. After saying that I didn't want to renew because of the price I got hit with statements of prices going up with oil and electric and the world's a different place......hence the need to save money??? All sorted I thought.......no not to be, online I asked for no claims to be sent out of which it didn't appear. So I rang again and asked for no claims to be sent out to the reply that it already has been.....well if it had I wouldn't be ringing would I? So they agreed to send again the no claims discount......still hasn't arrived now 2 months later. God help anyone trying to sort a claim out. So one star is all I can give and thats one too much for price, customer service and all their drama. Maybe customer service isn't high on their list and more concerned about your money in their account. Insurance is a buyer's market, you don't have to remain with same insurer if the price doesn't suit.
Service excellent but just too expensive for us
Took my car insurance with AXA as they were almost £180 cheaper than my previous insurer this also included very good breakdown service
I rate axa insurance the full five stars they were very good to me and their staff were very helpful and respectful towards me as I am an o. A. P
Looking to renew my second vehicle with them again but they never bother to call back, even after calling them for a second time to be told "someone will call you back". AXA had my custom for 10 years but obviously not loyal enough or worthy for my custom anymore. Goodbye.
I'm still with axa & have been for years. But their customer service is a BIG let down lately, particularly the Derry city branch at the diamond. Great quotes but the "lady"?? I was doing business with just didn't want to be there.. people skills needed one thinks... I'm all for supporting local jobs but that one makes it very difficult
