Really happy with the French doors we had made to measure. Spoke over the phone for advice with adding an additional 25mm add on to the head of the door as we had a oppennig height of 2230mm. Was really helpful.nnDoors arrived in time and tracking was really good.nDoors arrived in perfect condition and were really easy to assemble and install. Was a lot more resonably priced than anywhere else I looked.nnWill definitely use again for any other doors or windows.
Refused to refund a window that was broken on delivery!nI recently purchased a made-to-measure window from AWM Windows and unfortunately, a window pane arrived broken. Despite my clear statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, the company is refusing to provide a refund or arrange for the return of the faulty product.nI was told by a manager, Mike, that the company's terms and conditions state that they do not refund made-to-measure windows that are faulty on delivery, but this is illegal. Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, goods that are of unsatisfactory quality, not fit for purpose, or not as described have to be refunded or replaced. This includes made-to-measure products. The company cannot limit or exclude these rights.nI chose to have the window refunded as I am now not able to arrange for the replacement window to be fitted until next year when I am back in the country.nWhen I spoke to the manager on the phone he refused to acknowledge my legal rights and then hung up on me. It has been very disappointing to deal with AWM Windows, and I strongly advise potential customers to be aware of their rights and the company’s obligations. My experience has been frustrating and unresolved, and I hope this review helps others make an informed decision.
Seen some bad reviews on here but in my experience they have been great. I had some questions regarding frame dimensions before ordering and all were answered dimensions spot on.nnI ordered using the made to measure function online, the doors arrived when they said and looked great. Maybe some instructions on the hinge adjustments could be provided, I haven't seen this type before but soon worked it out.
The best value for money, selection, quality and service!nnI ordered a composite front door off AWM. I used the online ordering platform and called them to clarify a few things as I'm not in that trade. Mick walked me through the ordering system which helped me get the best for my budget. The door came within a couple of weeks and i was expecting an average product. I was wrong, the door is as good as they come, absolutely brilliant.nThe choice of hardware locking mechanisms, hinges etc.is brilliant, perhaps spoilt for choice is a fitting comment.nGoing fwd, AWM will be my go to supplier in the future.n10 out 10.nMick, thanks for your input.nCheers Gabriel
Ordered a back door, phoned a few times to confirm a few different things and was give nothing but stright to the point advise and honesty. The door quality is better than I expected. Definitely would use again, anyone thinking should I use them..... I would go for it !
