Amazing staff and management.nAll the time we were looked after and treated with the utmost respect.nA massive shout out to Will the instructor he was an absolute legend and looked after my son who is 8 years old and on the spectrum of autism and adhd. He is a bit of a challenge but Will took his time and showed him one to one support I'm truly grateful for that. We would highly recommend this place.nColin is an amazing person with patience and generous I his approach. An absolute pleasure to be able to share our experiences about your establishment and the way you took care of us.nFirst time today but I'm sure it won't be the last time. Great gym with a welcoming atmosphere. Some really creative route setting across a wide variety of grades. Nice mix of styles across two floors and plenty of space and equipment to warm up on; including tension boards. Also great snacks, coffee, small shop and rest area. 10/10 music as well.
We visited Awesome Walls today, and while it’s tucked a little out of the way, it proved to be well worth the trip.nnThe standout feature of our visit was undoubtedly the manager a truly incredible individual who made the experience unforgettable. As someone familiar with climbing, I was introducing my family to the sport, including a 13 year old who can be a tough crowd. However, the manager welcomed us warmly, engaged with the youngest member of our group, and encouraged him to give climbing a try. Her enthusiasm and support made such an impact that they’re already eager to return even without me prompting them!nnBeyond the excellent service, the atmosphere of the gym was fantastic. The people there were friendly and helpful while still allowing you to go at your own pace, creating a relaxed yet encouraging environment.nnThe gym itself caters to a wide range of skill levels, making it a great place for both beginners and experienced climbers. I particularly appreciated how the colour matched holds correspond to different grades, making it easy to find the right level and progress naturally.nnAnother major highlight was the fantastic value for money. Signing up as a life member not only provided great benefits but also allowed me to bring someone along for free. This is a brilliant incentive to introduce newcomers to climbing, reducing the cost barrier and making it more accessible for those who might not otherwise give it a try.nnOverall, Awesome Walls delivers an exceptional experience from the welcoming staff to the well-structured routes and excellent membership benefits. Highly recommended for climbers of all levels!
A great place with friendly and helpful staff. Took my 7 year old to the kids club, they show them how yo warm up, how to use the handholds and help teach them to climb the walls safely and effectively all while I had a cake and cuppa on a comfy sofa.nThere's a small gym area, a teaching space - I believe they do courses- family changing area and a cafe area. Some lovely vegan cake and snacks mixed with the other options.nDiscounts for bulk bookings and membership - which was dirt cheap.
First I went, first time climbing! Friendly staff, clean toilets and facilities, good coffee and rocky road! Climbing walls and cave, everyone there seemed happy and I really enjoyed myself! If I was local to the area I would definitely go again
