The only place I go to for my hair. Becky always gets my AroSci treatment and weave perfect and really understands my hair. Mimi and the team are all very professional and friendly. This was my very first visit to Mimi et Mina as I usually get my hair done in an afro hair salon on Gloucester Road in Bristol. I arrived a bit early for my appointment given the new coronavirus restrictions and had my temperature taken before I was allowed in. It is obvious that attention has been paid to the aesthetic appeal of the salon as the design and layout is chic and modern. My hair stylist was Madouss who was very personable and did an excellent job throughout from washing with a head massage thrown in to treating and then styling my afro hair. The other staff that I interacted with on the day were all pleasant including Mimi herself. The only thing I would change about the entire experience would be the cost of £165 for a wash, blow dry, moisture treatment, trim and cornrows. This seemed a bit inflated to me considering that I did not have any hair extensions/braids and was far more expensive than I have ever paid in Bristol. Nonetheless, I would recommend this salon and my stylist because of her talent and customer care but be prepared for the steep London prices.
I dreamt of being styled by Mimi for a long time. I've left feeling confident for my trip abroad and will be a returning customer. The service and attention to detail has been second to none! Cynthia
Been going here for more than 5 years and I have yet to have a bad experience. The staff is lovely, the space is so cute and always clean, and they are always willing to give you real advice on what’s best for you hair! I highly recommend!!!Services: Braids

Don’t go here, greedy and lazy at the same time. There’s a reason they are barely open and the owner only posts pictures of herself on social media- nobody goes there for the shoddy service you receive. It’s all smoke and mirrors…literally. A place that pretends to have class and pride, it doesn’t. Save your money and go elsewhere for a place that values your custom and cares how you hair looks when you leave because you come out looking worse than when you went it.Services: Hairstyling
Becky was the wonderful lady that assisted me with my hair today. I did a full process of weave removal, sew in and hair styling. Becky was so polite, patient, cooperative and very professional during the whole process.She was also very quick as my time was limited. I came from Greece and I was insecure whether I had made the right choice. After the great experience, I will definitely come back on my next visit to London.Services: Hairstyling
I had a texture release today and Mimi did my hair and just wow! Honestly I found my new salon. The treatment worked well with my hair and it looks amazing and it was lovely to get to know Mimi and chat to her, she is such a babe!
