Wonderful helpful assistant in the lingerie department to day, she knew her job so helpful and friendly. Purchased two items and will go back, I asked what days she works to make sure I get her again. We don't I've near Newton Abbot but so worth the time to get to Austins. Wish more shops and assistants were like this. Also in a helpful assistant in the home ware department.

A little disappointed with Austin's on this visit. Had ordered crockery, was advised 2 or 3 times that it was all in stock when this was in fact incorrect. Ended up not having the crockery as after 2 or 3 months they were unable to fulfill the order. My review applies only to this visit as I've never had any problems with the store previously and to be fair to them they did give me a voucher as compensation. Would still shop here.

Love shopping here. A shame there isn't a store in Exeter as I don't travel to Newton Abbot regularly, but when I do I make a bee Line here as there is always something good to buy. I highly recommend a visit

One of my go to shops when I'm visiting Devon. Love the feel of a traditional department store. Yes Austins is spread over four stores but they are all in close proximity. And it means they are able to carry a huge stock. The number of designers in the ladies department is very impressive to say the least. Plus prices are on par if not a little less than many of the department stores in the Midlands. And the staff most helpful and friendly.
