I'm staying in the area,this centre was local so I popped in to get a swim on Sunday morning 16 Jun.nThe lady on the desk was brilliant assisting me,it was very well priced with a sauna/steam room at very reasonable extra cost. Although I didn't use any other facilities the whole set up looks great including the nice powerful and hot showers afterwards also looks great for families which there was a good few in with babies as well.nOne very sensible thing I observed was a notice being displayed that if you ask permission from management you may take photos of those precious lovely moments of your littlies learning to splash/swim about Personally I think this is a sensible approach not everyone should be tarred wit the same brush!nMy local centre has a similar approach being that a member of management can view any photos and decide they're appropriate and decent which means for me being a grandparent of four means I have some snaps of precious swim time together.. excellent I fullynRecommend this place
The pool is ok, unfortunately it's quite often closed at the weekends for parties and there doesn't seem to be a good way to find out until you turn up and there is a sign outside. The gym is small though I think getting made bigger soon. The cafe is nice enough when you are lucky enough for it to be open.
We've not been for a while, but took our 6 and 3 year old. Good size with a infant and baby pool, with a separate large 25m pool for more experienced swimmers. The main benefit is the warm temperature in the baby pool, which you don't always find in public pools.nEasy access with parking outside and a good location in Haddington. We drove through from Portobello, Edinburgh as its worth the 20min drive and we can then enjoy lunch or a wander around Haddington after or before.
Good place for spending time and if you like swimming and wanna do cardio then this place is for you but there is no equipment for workout like dumbbells, bars Etc
Staff are always so helpful. Clean changing rooms for swimming pool.
