Overall a good starter experience with Atom Bank. Applied for a 1yr fixed savers account and although I had a few issues with the app at first, it worked fine the next day once the initial rush had died down. The rate was not great (as is to be expected given the state of the economy) but was still the best I could find, so full marks there. Where they do lose a star however is for their security. They insist that you set up three different types of login, two of which in my opinion are pretty insecure. The fact that these methods HAVE to be setup means that even if I don't use them myself, they are there for potential fraudsters to exploit. Very disappointing for such a new, tech based bank.

I have just opened a three year bond, no problems this bank came up with best interest rates recommended by Martin Lewis on his showed, government backed so this was the one for me.

They will take my Money but NOT my Wife's I have been with Atom over 2years but when my wife try's to invest in a 3 year or 2 year Bond she is not recognised! They will not tell me why! She is on electoral roll lived with me a man and wife for 35 years 16 of them at this address.I ask Why they can't tell me VERY DISAPPOINTED!

great mortgage rate offered and we were lucky enough to secure it... process of underwriting and through to completion very easy with the app - much better than past experiences with manual processes
