They do a nice carvery and value for money isn't too bad. Bit out of the way and not so easy to get to but good for a family outing or celebration. Staff are friendly and helpful. Place is clean and tidy enough Would recommend the food and desserts here.
I'm splitting hairs here, for me it was four and a half stars, the meal was excellent, I had the beer battered fish & chips which was piping hot just like it's meant to be,it was delicious and was well worth five stars on its own, the only flaw as I saw it,they didn't clear the table quick enough after we had finished eating, consequently nobody had a sweet and there was about 25 of us. Don't take this too badly though I was really impressed with the first course and I will certainly be back, the other thing I noticed was,I saw one person go up to the carvery from our 25,that struck me as unusual, but that could be a trend or we are unusual, I really don't know. You were really good though

Went for carvery.. they do 3 different sizes so great for any appetite.. the food was lovely and at a great price. We will definitely be going there again
Realy lovely Food, very frieandly Staff, lovely choice on menus, good Variety of sweets, food was fresh hot and tasty. Good choice veg including 4 difrent Potato, sliced new, including roast in Beef Driping, well worth trying book ahead, as it gets very busy.
Went to a family breakfast. Superb service and food. We went late on and dinner was beginning to be served by the time we left, the carvery looked amazing. Staff were attentive but not obtrusive and all very dedicated to their roles. They were also pleasant and helpful to one another, the sign of a great team. Well done Grove Park.
Lovely little pub. I went with my partner just after 1pm on Sunday without a reservation and was very lucky to be seated immediately. We both had a small carvery with the option of extra Yorkshire pudding and two pigs in blankets. Perfect size for a smallish appetite. We both had beef and it was cooked perfectly, as were all the sides. All self serve options were rotated frequently so there was always plenty to go round. Staff were all very friendly and helpful and the pub was nice and clean.
Great family pub. Good carvery and superb value. There's a decent choice of drinks too. Staff are friendly and helpful. It has a large car park and it's in a great location right by M1 J21/Fosse Park. It can be quite busy early evening and seems to close down quite early too. Well worth a visit though especially for the Carvery - make sure you're hungry....
Honestly just a good overall experience. Me and my friends got the meat selection and the beef is just out of the world: not dry at all and super flavourful. The cake there is also so incredible and the size of the slice is VERY generous. The price was just right for the amount of food you get, too. The vibes were cozy and our server, Gordon, was so much fun to talk to. Just a lovely place to hang out and eat.
Nice big family pub with a carvery and full menu. There's also a great selection of cakes and a kids play area for under 5s.
