Absolutely flawless coffee today, super impressed. Ordered my usual, a decaf latte, and my partner his decaf oat flat white. I honestly couldn't fault either of them - my latte was the perfect strength, texture, temperature and taste, my partners' the same. Enough said!! Cakes and food menu looked amazing, decor/vibes/setting just perfect. Was served by an extremely friendly chap too which just topped off the whole experience, thank you .
Another visit and another great coffee! The food selection is growing, with a small menu and some fresh pastries which are spot on. The coffee and barista skills are the star of the show though. Perfectly made, well poured and for once served at a great drinking temperature. Thanks again
A great little coffee shop in Cardiff. The V60 pour-over was one of the tastiest coffee's I've had from a coffee shop. The staff were friendly and they have a good selection of high quality retail coffee's too.
Delicious, generous breakfast bap in a lovely bun. Plenty of vegetarian options and vegan options. Delicious, quality coffee! You can sit inside or you can sit under the covered arcade too. There were sandwiches and cakes available too but we had baps and that was honestly the nicest breakfast bap I've had in ages. Staff were really nice and friendly. Really glad we chose this place for breakfast.
Great place for a cup of coffe and to grab something to eat. It is quite close to the Cardiff Central train station so it’s convenient to pop in. Vegan options available.
Lovely small café, lots of space outside of the place. Lovely staff and full of energy. Nice selection of speciality coffee range, own merch avaliable is well - I brought the best reusable carrier bag very nice cakes - I had smarties doughnut but I eaten it after visit and forgot to take the pic - I think that's the best recommendation for that sweet treat. I'll definetly come back there on next Cardiff visit!
The coffee was very nice but for £3.10 you get half the size cup of a traditional coffee place, and they only offer the one size of 8oz, so theres no chance of value for money here. Could make 10 cups for that price at home using filter paper method. The woman was overly nice, and not even a smile, thankyou or goodbye from the bloke who made the coffee. Just said, 'cappuccino to go' and left it on the counter top, no customer interaction really. Going to stick to my Pret a Manger. Decent coffee, decent size and value for money, and everyone is very friendly and interactive, even when busy.
Tasty pastrami, cheese and gherkin sandwich spoiled only by the bread that had become a little stale around the edges, made and left out too long without being totally wrapped and sealed. Cappuccino served in a small cup tasted a little bitter.Food: 3/5
One of my favourite coffee shops in Cardiff. The friendliest staff, always consistently good coffees, cakes and baps. The baristas are super enthusiastic and don’t seem to mind my coffee-mad partner asking them questions about their roasts and techniques! They also sell a great selection of beans and equipment for making coffee at home. It’s a tiny little cafe so we rarely get a seat inside but even out in the arcade it’s always a lovely atmosphere. Not the place if you’re looking for somewhere to get some work done I’d say due to the size, but a really great place to socialise and relax! Dietary restrictions: They always have at least a few vegan or gluten free cakes. They offer a great gluten free roll for their baps! Usually, if they have a cake that is both gluten and dairy free, it’ll be a flapjack, but they’re always nice with extra stuff added in, so it’s not boring : However, the only milk alternative is oat milk which is slightly restrictive.
