The customer service was excellent, I enjoyed the aesthetic and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. I found the homemade sauces to be exciting and the mushy peas were far better than any I'd had anywhere else. I had the scampi and squid combo and can safely say that it was excellent and I would definitely be happy to come here again.
Athena B are the best fish and chips I’ve ever had - everything was delicious. The batter was light a crispy. Cod was really fresh and good quality. The chips were a perfect combination of crispy, soft and not too greasy. Really nice atmosphere and staff. 10 out of 10!

Whilst staying locally on holiday, we were recommended this place and were not disappointed. Beautifully cooked fish, tasty chips and free ketchup . I also have to pass comment on the packaging, which was premium and not your usual, just piled into a paper parcel
Visited Portslade for the day, this chippy was reccomended. Excellent customer service, very friendly mother and son who run it. The guy even went out of his way to make us some scraps!! Highly reccomend, lovely fish with very light crispy batter. When we're back in the area we will visit again.Food: 4/5
Truly the best fish and chips ....my cod was unbelievably fresh and the batter really light and non greasy. Have definitely found our new favourite.
We've been looking for the best fish and chips in Brighton and Hove for several years now, and have finally found it! Ordered a few times from this place and we won't be going anywhere else from now on. Highly, highly recommend.
Not your average chip shop. Try Athena B pies - made on the premises and really good. The chips are the best for miles. Friendly staff. Great food.
I ordered here twice! The food was absolutely amazing, the packaging is the winner ! I definitely come back and order it again ! My favourite fish and chip take away so far! Thank you !
Food is absolutely lovely, Chips where perfectly done. No complaints on the burgers, would be nice to have a non battered version of the chicken burger. Will definitely be ordering from here again.
