I love this place. Season ticket holder in the north stand. The ground is looking tired now but the plans for its rebuild look fantastic. It will be nice to have some legroom. Plenty going on around the ground for pre-match entertainment and plenty of free parking in the side streets towards the city centre. Up the Villa.
Went to do the villa stadium tour. It was a really great experience. The tour guide was knowledgeable and had a great sense of humour. Incredible to see the pitch up close.
Good views of the pitch and action, even from high up in the stands. Fairly sheltered from the cold and winds in there too, when the stands are packed. Queued for a short while to get in, but super quick to move up the millions of stairs to get to the stands once through the turnstiles. The food and drinks on offer were ok, although expensive! Toilet queues at half time and just before the match were pretty big, with no proper queuing inside them, so it’s a free for all once you’re in there! Local train stations couldn’t cope with the volume of people leaving, with a queue about 1/2 a mile long just to get into the nearby station at Aston, so bear that in mind when planning your home journey.
This is the main football stadium in Birmingham. There are others available. The facilities are first rate. Food is available at the concourse with first class restaurants also available. Alcoholic, soft and hot drinks are available. Conference facilities and executive boxes are also available. The views of the pitch around the ground are excellent. The playing area is well maintained with effective drainage and under soil heating. Stewards are well trained and focused on offering assistant to the supporters. The ground is well organised to cope with large crowds. A first rate stadium that is worth a visit.
Great day out for step daughters early Christmas present. Done the stadium tour, terrific tour guide. Very informative and reasonably priced
Came for the stadium tour and enjoyed it very much! Learnt so much about the history of this wonderful club. Next step come for a match or season
Great venue!! Never been before, but attended a charity match through Selebrity Soccer. Parking isn't clearly signposted, but the back road by the gates was empty and no yellow lines so perfect. The entrance is well laid out, entry was easy and organised, being a Sunday event it wasn't the usual chaos of a match day. There was a great atmosphere, good crowds raising money for charity. Great weather for a game, the stands are clean, well spaced out and easy to get around. My sons on crutches so not easy getting up and down all the stairs, we were in the vip area so had a great view from the centre. The food and drinks were well organised and not too badly priced but not cheap. Great day and would highly recommend it.
I took my grandson on a guided tour, I'm 65 and he is 10. I'm not a Villa fan, mainly a fan of football. My grandson is a Villa fan and thought this was the best day of his life. I have also done a Manchester United tour some time ago. I felt better after the Villa tour than the Man U. The history of football starts in the Midlands and mainly with Aston Villa through the efforts of William Mcgregor. Very interesting and money well spent .
Massive ground, though a little like going back in time, even though I live in Brum I traveled to Wolverhampton to catch the coach as parking looked at a premium. Easy journey care of police escort to ground, brilliant journey back as M6 M5 & M42 all open for once. Also brilliant for last kick of the game winner
It's a nice Stadium I think it could be better and they could upgrade it and put in more seat at the club
