A pleasant walk around the grounds. People can book to stay so not always available to look around the castle itself.

I visited as part of an open day/weekend. It's a pleasantly regenerated old residence that now functions as a sort of bed and breakfast. The grounds are pleasant enough and the building itself is a fine example of a building in ruins which has been tastefully restored with a modern flair. It's worth a stop if you find yourself in rural north Warwickshire.

Excellent couple hours spent looking round this historic building being looked after by landmark trust. Worth a visit. But the postcode on the initial page is wrong. You need to go to Astley village and when u see the church you've found the right place.
