I absolutely love this place.  Such a huge selection of quality second-hand books and the prices are very reasonable.  The staff are lovely and really love and know books. Add in a cafe with home-made cakes (temptation) and a big squashy sofa by the woodburning stove... Bit tricky to find, but map is good idea. Worth the trip!

Fabulous place. Highly recommended for either browsing or buying. Excellent separate children's section. Cafe is first class. A definite must for a day with the kids, especially if you incorporate nearby Hoar Children's Petting Farm. Love it! 😀

This place is amazing, I didn't quite know what to expect, the road leading up to the farm was narrow, but once you get through to the car park it looked alright, I had no problem parking and the building(farm) itself was enormous. When I walked in I was welcomed by that old book smell! It was great. There was a huge selection of books waiting for me to rummage through, the children section was a little small but my lot still managed to find a few books to take home! 

Always the café was pretty decent and there was comfy armchairs scattered around the place so you could sit a read! If your into your books, I definitely recommend you checking this place out!

If you love books, you'll love this place. I can lose myself here for hours looking through the many shelves dotted throughout the many rooms... Make sure you head through to the very end, where two sofas and a log burning stove await you. I also making a point of stopping for a bite to eat in the cafe - I'm particularly partial to the soup and sandwich options. Be warned though, both the cafe and the car park can get very busy.

I love coming to Astley Book Farm, it's such a quaint and peaceful place. The food is lovely, really reasonably priced and the cakes are amazing! I spend a good few hours perusing the books, usually find one I intend to buy and then sit in the Snug (which has sofas and a log burner in winter), sometimes with a pot of tea, and enjoy the first few chapters. Perfect for a relaxing afternoon
