Our elderly cavalier has a heart murmur and we might have needed a scan expensive. We had agreed to the cost but Vet Steve said she is not bad enough to need it yet and charged us NOTHING. What great ethics and care. Thank you so very much. We changed from a vet owned by VC’s to Ashfield and have not regretted it for a single moment. Wonderful animal people

As much as the actual care is good, the communication side of things is awful.  Any email we sent for repeat prescriptions was never answered so we always had to chase with a phone call.  Unfortunately when our dog passed away we informed them by email and didn't even get a 'sorry to hear...' reply or anything.  They pride themselves on being a private, family business but don't reply to Google reviews like most private firms do.  Maybe some extra training on the admin/communication side of things is required to boost this otherwise great animal surgery.

We have a new puppy so wasn't sure of what to do to make sure she is flea/jab covered. The vets were absolutely brilliant. Goldie has now had all her treatments so will be ready to explore the world in a couple of days.

Used this vets twice, never again. Took over 40 minutes to do a blood test. Then i had to wait again for meds. Finally brought my dog back to me telling me he was hard to get blood from.  never heard that before from my previous vets Charged me an extortionate price my dog was so frightened when we left he had diarrhoea all day.

What a change. I took my two girls in today for their top up jabs. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. Eles, the vet and Alice the other vet were a great team. And I must mention the help at the reception, it was how you want a Vets to be!

I would like to thank everyone for looking after our dog Lottie during her operation and recovery.   A special thanks to Stuart, we knew she was in safe hands.

I can't recommend this vet surgery enough. Supported us through some of our most difficult times. Very thorough and considerate and 5 star friendly service from reception, to the nurses and the vets. I'm sure most animals don't like to go to a vet but if they had to choose one, I'm certain this place would be it. Go there, experience their pet care for yourself.

This used to be a great vets which I have used for over 15 years but I really feel that the service has gone down hill in recent months. I haven’t been seen on time for the last few appointments but tonight I waited for over an hour because the receptionist failed to check me in when I arrived. After waiting for half an hour I queried why I hadn’t been seen. Instead of ensuring I was seen next the receptionists sat whispering about their love lives whilst I waited for another half an hour watching other pets coming in and going out. I shall be definitely moving vets in the future.

Stuart the vet at Ashwood veterinary clinic was amazing with our new puppy Mia. He was so patient and kind with her, and took the time to answer all of our questions and concerns. He gave us great advice on how to care for her and made us feel confident that we were doing everything right. We really appreciated his care and attention, and would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a great vet!
