The time slot tickets are free but you can make a donation. And there's not a crowd so you can really enjoy and take your time. There's stuff from 5,000 years ago to twentieth century art. We we really enjoyed it. And the shop is good too.
Oxford and Cambridge are both have great museums, the collections are difficult to tell who is better. And it is no meaning to tell who will win. I would say, I love both. But obviousely, at Ashmolean, you can get closer to exhibition, and enjoy more of the details.
Full of interesting and amazing artefacts and works of art. Beautiful museum. Well laid out, informative and helpful guides. Well documented information easy to follow. Lovely ambience.
Wonderful museum with varied collections well displayed. Special exhibitions are well worth the visit too. Young Rembrandt exhibition was fabulous.
Got to experience this museum before another lockdown. The booking system is great I successfully booked a 15:00 slot on the morning of the same say. The collection is spectacular and the staff is very friendly!
