As a paramedic I know only too well how bad some GPS can be. I absolutely love this practice, the staff are fab from the receptionists to the nurses to the doctors. I have never in over 10 years struggled to get an appointment or speak to a clinician and the service is always polite and efficient. Great GP surgery’s are hard to come by and this one is like finding a golden nugget. Thank you

I would like to express my sincere gratitude to the staff and doctors of Ashingdon Medical Centre. There swift response and action saw my very sick wife seen and admitted to hospital within hours for treatment. Everyone was so kind and helpful.
After contacting Ashington Medical Center yesterday The clinician Darren called me back and I explained that I had a few chest pains and shortness of breath that I presumed was muscle pain after cutting down a very large tree . Darren saw me within 5 minutes, he is very caring and thorough and decided I should attend A&E . Was very lucky at Southend general was seen promptly X rayed , blood tests and ECG, all within about 3 hours the doctor even had a prescription ready when I saw him , was diagnosed with a lung infection. Today Darren even called me to see how I had got on . Thank you Darren and your very nice clinician colleague. Amazing service and care . My family know we are very lucky to have such an amazing doctors surgery all the receptionists clinicians, nurses and of course Doctors Have been attending this surgery for 40 years there is nothing more reassuring than having reliable dedicated staff and doctors , we so appreciate it Thank you Colin and Mandy Hume and family
The best Dr receptionists everrrr. Of all the doctors I have attended in my life, the staff at Ashingdon Medical Centre are the kindest and happiest I have ever known.
