Very good parking spaces over a hundred spots. The reception staff was very nice and helpful. Lockers are a locker very good size to store the bags and belongings. The coffee shop this one wow amazing coffee they have, god bless. The facilities shower and toilet very clean and wide spaces Indoor swimming pools For kids learners and older people, no mistake was on the design it was accomplished by professionals to deliver the best experiences to the community. The outdoor pool is clean, fresh and huge. Lifeguards are very lovely helpful and professional. Thanks for everything you have done to support the community.
This pool was opened recently so the water is pristine and everything is new. It has an exceptionally good spa, sauna and steam room. Some people travel here just for the sauna alone. There is an indoor pool for kids. The gym is also noteworthy, all the equipment is new and the staff are really friendly. I took this photo on a stormy day with a full rainbow as you can see. Great pool for all and nice for laps, enough room for all and doesn't get too busy. You pay extra for the spa and it's in 30min slots. The pool typically closes at 8pm, not sure if that changes in winter best check your plans. Enjoy!
Indoor pool is a bit small, there were no lanes available to the public so we had to swim outdoors, would be nice if the indoor pool was bigger. Also you have to book online if you want to use the sauna and steam room
We moved to this aquatic centre from Leichhardt because it is closer to home for us. Clean bathrooms which is awesome with separate spaces for toilets and showers. There's even family change areas available. Some of the rinse off showers next to the pool inside and outsidel are not working - not sure what's going on there. The outdoor pool is gently heated to take the chill off. Little kids play area inside plus one outside. Cafe with standard meals.
The staff there are amiable, professional and knowledgeable. Parking is 2 hours free, Monday to Friday. It's a great place to swim, take some swimming lessons for kids and adults, and do some aquatic workouts, as the site is spotless. The only downside I noticed was that some of the lockers in men's changing room did not work properly.
Love it. Always be my go-to aquatic centre during hot days!! They have spa which you can include in a package or buy it seperately about $8 per 30 minutes, with hot sauna, wet steam room and dry steam room. Very relaxing. Toilets are clean, hope they could help to check and clean more frequently. Some busy times the toilets and bathroom have lots of hairs.
I have not been to this pool for a number of years and I must say it has changed a lot. There's a lot more focus on the kids nowadays with both an indoor and outdoor kids pool. There is also some good shaded areas where you can sit back and chill, while enjoying some decent food from the cafe for a decent price. While we were there, we also witnessed how the staff efficiently and effectively dealt with contamination at the kids pools. It was a place for a family outing and definitely a positive experience for us.
What happened to Ashfield pool? An old childhood favourite destroyed. The refurb is lovely, went out for a nice time with children and school friends. Was told repeatedly that children 5 and under needed to be within arms distance, was told enough times that the children started crying because we were not planning on being in the water. The water is ankle high and siblings were in the water AND the children can swim. That was clearly not enough for the nasty life savers- 2 groups of boys were playing with toddler balls in the water. They couldn’t hurt someone as they were soft balls, the pools had hardly any clientele YET another nasty guard kept watching and confiscated the ball. We paid entry fee to feel uncomfortable, have children cry and to have the nastiest experience ever at a public pool lasted one uncomfortable hour. Counted five life guards easy who clearly didn’t want to get wet. This pool was a childhood favourite which we will never set foot in again. Nasty central.

I just did the tour of the new Ashfield Aquatic Centre. The facilities are absolutely fantastic with great care taken to make the pool as flexible and children/disability friendly as possible. The have a number of outdoor pools including a 50m lap pool that can be split into two 25m pools for events, children's pool and water polo pool. A number of seated shady outdoor areas. Inside contains a large 25m lap pool, a 31 degree kids pool and a larger square pool for aqua aerobics classes and general play. The inside area also includes a spa, steam room and sauna. The gym is very high tech with amazing new equipment for all types of workouts, and classrooms for yoga, pilates and gym sessions. Highly recommend attending when it opens, free parking during the week for 2 hours and weekends for 4 hours.
