Ash grove medical surgery is a disgrace and con't provide a decent level of service for its patients. Obtaining an appointment is a joke. I have just seen a consultant for an endoscopy examination and told that I need to see my GP within two days for urgent medication. Despite informing the surgery of this I was told the nearest appointment was in 18 days time, totally unacceptable. I would not be able to recommend Ash grove surgery, their standards fall far below what should be expected.

Good surgery for making appointments & seeing a doctor or nurse. I prefer the new system of if you want a same day appointment a doctor rings you back & decides if you need an appointment or not or does a prescription over the phone. But ordering repeat prescriptions is an absolute nightmare! Two months in a row I've had problems ordering my husbands repeat prescription, last month it was lost twice & this month it was lost once resulting in him going without an asthma inhaler because he had to wait at least a week & half for them & he ran out. I also don't appreciate being told "we have no record of it" or "we haven't done anything since 2015 for him" when I order every month without fail & I feel like they're saying I'm lying. The ordering repeat prescription system needs sorting out & when I finally receive the prescription I then have trouble getting the inhalers because they're out of stock!

Used to be a good surgery, but with a lot of the doctors leaving it's almost impossible to get an appointment.
