The pizza is really bad- all tomato and no cheese. THE WORSE PIZZA I HAVE EVER HAD IN MY LIFE! The attached photo is after I sent it back for extra cheese, so you can imagine how it came out originally should have taken a photo. Also in hindsight I should have taken my second pizza back as it was still bad, but I didnt want a carvery or a rubbish burger, so was a bit stuck! Also my friend had a burger and said it was bad quality. We ordered cookie dough which were really small. The serving staff were polite so is prehaps the reason we didn't complain more, as it's not their fault, but they always take the brunt of complaints- which should be aimed at bad cooks or management. Also I emailed them to say the above and just got 'sorry, hope you won't be put off coming again'. It has put us off coming again.
Brought my 4 children for a meal today, food was lovely and service excellent. We have visited a few times previously and have always been happy with the experience. Lovely waitress Sandra who always seems to be working! Who went above and beyond to make it an enjoyable meal. She was super friendly and happy to help! Definitely recommend.
Beautiful carvery, staff are lovely and friendly! Come here regularly as it's such a lovely place. Good value for money, easy to order to table on the app! Food is amazing as always. Sandra served us today and was extra lovely
We had an absolutely beautiful breakfast here on Thursday morning! Everything was cooked to perfection with a wide range of options! Unlimited tea & coffee. Very warm and welcoming, Ange is a super star! Fantastic service, highly recommend.
Special thanks to Sandra and Ange for great friendly service. We made use of the 50% off voucher that we received via email. Absolute bargain and really enjoyed our carvery. Food was hot and fresh. Will definitely return again in the near future. Thanks to all the staff at The Ashbank.
Booked a table last minute for me and the family, carvery was absolutely delicious. Especially the beef and gammon. Service at the bar was brilliant and at the table from Sandra, she made sure our dinner was up to scratch and that we had everything we needed haven’t been here for a while but this visit reminded me why I shouldn’t go anywhere else for a Sunday carvery. Thankyou to the team!
Came tonight around 5ish, lovely atmosphere and very welcoming staff. New menu is absolutely amazing, we shared three starters and two pizzas pizzas were two for one! , couldn’t finish it all but was offered a take away box to take home for later! Recommend to anyone :
What a shame for this carvery. They are a family friendly establishment and therefore serve a lot of families, However do not have the ability to control the behavior of other guests, their words. Children are allowed to run round freely Screaming and shouting and running into people while they have warm meals in the hands. While walking back to there tables with their meals. So if you want a quite meal this isn't the place to go.
Absolutely lovely, friendly service and I really enjoyed my meal here with the family. The camembert bake is so tasty, everything was served at just the right temperature. Sandra and Ang served us at the bar, and were so keen and sociable, it feels like such a homely environment here.
Nice venue but standards a little short. ie, re-using drinks beer glasses should be no longer seen. Dip tube dispensers allow cross infection. Surely the pandemic has shown this habit to be no longer acceptable. Otherwise well received and friendly staff
