Let down twice in a month with no-show deliveries. No communication, no apologies, nothing. Absolutely appalling service.nnWhen my shopping had been delivered, it had many many substitutions or cancelled items which when I went into store were there or very similar alternatives if cancelled. The staff picking my order just obviously couldn’t be bothered to look!nnI was always a loyal Asda shopper but this is a serious let down and very disappointing.
Made an online order. This order was failed to be delivered three times. I only reordered twice because I was assured by them it would come the next time. The final time I spoke to someone from the store directly who apologised and said they would definitely deliver my order and gave me a 5 hour time frame to wait at home. The order never turned up. I have wasted so much time staying home for these orders due to false promises and no positive communication from this store.
Bashing a company is not what I want to achieve here , but I really have to reach out and say something , if not on behalf of the staff but so the shop in question can take a look at themselves and address the issues , I went to Asda Trowbridge on Sunday . I was absolutely blown away at the lack of “food on the shelves” in a supermarket .. I have pics to attach , now I know sometimes u can’t get everything you want in one shop and have to pop to another but this was absolutely insane , from empty fruit shelves , empty pasta , limited veg , empty mix and match fridge .. this wasn’t even the beginning .. I grabbed what little I could and headed to scan and go , the amazing gentleman working , running solo between self service and scan and go came to my assistance as my shop needed checking , he was physically shaking , no joke . I reassured him and said u can only go as quick as u can , take your time . While 4 red lights flashed and people waving him over to assist them . A shorter girl who I clocked chatting to another member of staff didn’t come to help , he said he was rushed off his feet I felt so bad for him . Anyway after leaving that place walking through the litter filled car park I got home to empty my shop to find I had sausages that went out of date 2 days prior , I was absolutely appalled , went back asked for a manager , brang up all my points , lack of food , poor staff under pressure and out of date food on the shelves , he apologised and said they had an influx of illness , I mean as management these things you are supposed to be able to um manage ! A girl behind the counter actually thanked me for speaking up as she said no one else will .. it’s a poor show and I will be shopping elsewhere in future! And I think Asda need to take into account the mental health of their staff !
The store was absolute nightmare this afternoon. Only 1 assistant to deal with all the self service checkouts and scan and go section. 2 manned tills open but big queues waiting at those as well. I went yo look for anyone in charge but surprise surprise no manager to be seen.
I really don't like this Asda. There are no toilets. The shelves are always empty. Short dates on most food items. Staff are miserable. Management is non existant. They close stupidly early. Nobody cares. Go to Tesco down the road.
